Dan Oxygen Provider PDF Print E-mail
You've always been taught that administering oxygen is the most important first aid you can give an injured diver, but no one ever showed you how! Now learn to actually do it. Divers Alert Network (DAN) has designed this course to be entry-level training to educate the general diving, and qualified non-diving, public to recognize possible dive-related injuries and provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services.

You must be current in CPR/Basic First Aid and at least 12 years old. Training at Basic Life Support (BLS) level is also strongly recommended. We run a Medic First Aid class to meet these requirements.

Adventure Sports II certifies under DAN (Divers Alert Network), the largest international dive safety association. Certification as a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Oxygen Provider is also available at a small additional fee.
